Frequently Asked Questions

Our accommodated tours fill the gap between a camping experience and a more expensive lodge tour. The accommodation is mostly in National Park style chalets and bungalows. All nights on accommodation tours are in twin rooms (unless a single supplement has been booked). Some tours have dorm room accommodation.

On camping tours, you will be staying in large, 2-man canvas tents (with built-in mosquito nets). There’s plenty of room for your bags, and you will also get a foam mattress to ensure your comfort. You will be putting up and taking down your own tent. Don’t worry; the design of our tents makes this very easy. We are sure that you will master it very quickly and even come to enjoy it as part of the tour experience!

Please submit an Enquire form or make direct enquiry at travel@planetwildlife.com. You will generally need to pay a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to secure your seat. Payment gateway details will be sent to you by mail.

You are responsible for your own visas and the validity of your passport. Please check your itinerary carefully to determine the type of visa that is required (single or multiple-entry). Your passport may have to be valid for at least 6 months beyond the departure date from a country.

You should also have at least 3-4 blank pages in your passport. Some countries will not allow you to enter without 2 blank passport pages. If you have more than one passport, use only one of them for your trip, so that all the visas are in one place.

No. However, you must keep in mind that our tours require you to be fairly active. Therefore, you are expected to be in good health, reasonably fit and mobile.

Those under the age of 18 must have signed permission from a parent or guardian. Passengers over the age of 65 require a letter from their doctor stating that they are fit to travel.

Yes, we do offer single occupancy accommodation on certain tours at an additional cost. The cost is displayed on the itinerary page of those tours. In case the single occupancy rates of a tour have not been mentioned, please email us and we will provide you with the single occupancy rates for that tour, if available.
