Keoladeo National Park - A Unique Experience

We visited Bharatpur in the first week of December 2018 and enjoyed bird watching at the Keoladeo National Park. The park is a singularly unique experience for any visitor of National wildlife reserves because of the lack of any large predators other than the rare solitary Striped Hyena one has full leave to walk around the park on foot so long as you stick to the paths allowed by the park officials.

Ladakh - Untravelled India!

It all started with an idea of a getaway from the daily hustle bustle of city life and mundane routine. With an impending travel plan in mind, I decided to travel to Ladakh - 9 days trip that took me to Leh, Khardungla Pass, Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake and Tso Moriri Lake.

Highlights of South Africa

“Whether you love safaris, adventure, cities, beaches, mountains, history, culture or all of the above, you know there’s always a wow moment lying around every South African corner” - South Africa Tourism. The above summarizes South Africa perfectly. I spent 15 ‘wow’ days in this beautiful country and beauty just can’t be described in words.

Pre-departure Family Travel Tips

Pre-departure Family Travel Tips

Travelling abroad requires careful planning, and when you’re travelling with kids, it becomes even more important to make sure you’re well prepared. At PlanetWildlife, we regularly have families going on safaris with us. A few weeks before their departure date, we make sure to send them a pre-departure pack so they’ve taken care of all the essentials. Other than the usual advice of checking your passports, and buying insurance, here are a few travel tips to keep in mind when you’re preparing for your next family adventure:

Kenya’s Cultural Heritage

Kenya’s Cultural Heritage

With Africa’s most dramatic migration stealing the show for the next few months, it’s no surprise that we’re completely in love with Kenya! The continent’s most magnificent animals will be engaging in a saga which will see them traverse the historic Masai Mara, an event which has captured the imaginations of poets, artists, photographers, writers, and travellers for countless ages, and which has become part of the eternal song for the people who have inhabited this great land for centuries.

Preventing and Treating Sunburn

In most of the Northern Hemisphere, summer is here and that means it is time to go outside. Whether you are planning a safari holiday to Kenya or just a local hike, you will need to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. While a sunburn may just seem like a temporary irritation, getting sunburnt can not only put a damper on your travel plans, but it can also cause long-lasting damage.
