An early morning flight to Nagpur and a drive of about 2 hours from there will take us to Pench National Park where your Indian wildlife tour will properly begin. We are scheduled to reach by early afternoon. After check-in, relax in your suite or go on a stroll in the camp area.
After lunch, we set out on our first game drive into Pench National Park. The drive will acquaint you with the environment of the park, which is mainly dry deciduous forest of teak trees.
The beautiful Pench Tiger Reserve is nestled in the southern part of the Satpura Hills and is named after the Pench River that flows through it. In addition to Tigers, the area is famous for large herds of Gaur (Indian Bison), Chital, Sambar, Nilgai, Wild Dog, and Wild Pig.
We start the day with an early morning safari in Pench and a picnic breakfast. The long drive through the deciduous forest and gurgling streams give you a chance to encounter nature at close quarters. We return to the lodge for lunch, after which you can relax for a while.
