Your trip to South Africa begins as you land at the OR Tambo Johannesburg International Airport. You will be met by our representative, who will assist you to your vehicle from where you will go on a guided tour of Soweto.
Soweto is a suburb in Johannesburg, famous for its two erstwhile residents, Nobel Prize winners Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. You will go to the hotel after the tour and check in. You can relax for the rest of the day and rejuvenate for an exciting day ahead.
Today you will be experiencing the beautiful wilderness of South Africa. After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the Johannesburg International Airport for your flight to Kruger Mpumalanga airport. (Please note: Cost of flight is not included in cost and must be added)
On arrival at the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport, you will meet your driver and driven to your luxury game lodge. Sabi Sands Game Reserve is next to the world renowned Kruger National Park which offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. The wildlife roams freely as there are no fences between Sabi Sands and Kruger National Park which makes the game viewing exceptional. You can spot the Big 5 especially the elusive leopard and various other mammals on your game drive in the reserve. Also, about 300 species of birds inhabit the park.
You will go on your first game drive in Sabi Sands this afternoon in an open 4X4 safari vehicle. The drive can extend into an early evening safari giving you a chance to view the nocturnal wildlife. You will return to the lodge after the game drive and you will have dinner at the lodge.
Your day begins early today with an early morning wake up call for your dawn game viewing safari drive. After a hot cup of coffee, your personal ranger will escort you in his open 4WD Land Rover and head off into the reserve.
Sabi Sands has about 145 species of mammals, which include the Big Five - lion, Cape buffalo, leopard, black rhinoceros and the African elephant. It is one of the parks that offers a very good chance to sight the Big 5 on safari, Packs of endangered African wild dogs are found here. Other important animals include the white rhinoceros, Burchell's zebras, bushbucks, common elands, giraffes and blue wildebeests.
Sabi Sands has a large variety of reptiles, particularly crocodiles. It is also home to hundreds of species of birds, the majority of which are resident species. However, there are also a large number of nonbreeding migratory birds and nomadic species as well.
You will return to the lodge for breakfast and relax for a while before leaving on an afternoon game drive. You can extend the game safari into the evening to sight the nocturnal wildlife.
Today is your last day in Sabi Sands and you will go on your last game drive this morning. After a cup of coffee and snacks, you will embark on the game drive accompanied by your ranger in a 4WD open Land Rover.
You will return to the lodge for breakfast and then depart with your driver-guide to the Kingdom of Swaziland. You will pass through the border into Swaziland at Jeppe’s Reef border post. Swaziland is a land locked; mountain country and you will travel through the rural areas and the Pigg Peak Pass to arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon. You will have the rest of the day at your leisure.
Today you will spend the day exploring the unique industries of Swaziland like the Ngwenya Glass factory, Swazi Candle factory, and the city of Manzini. Several of these shops and store bring out the unique flavor of Swaziland and introduce you to a culture so fantastic and uniquely African.
Today you will embark on a journey to the Hluhluwe area in South Africa. You will have breakfast at the hotel and then travel south to enter South Africa at the Golela border post and continue to your safari lodge.
You will go on a safari in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve in an open 4X4 safari vehicle and your drive will continue into the early evening in order to view the nocturnal wildlife. After an eventful safari, you will return to the lodge and dinner will be served.
Your day begins early today with an early morning wake up call for your dawn game viewing safari drive. After a hot cup of coffee, your ranger will escort you in his 4 WD open Land Rover and head off into the reserve.
You will return to the lodge for breakfast and after relaxing in the serene environs of the lodge you will have a leisurely lunch. After lunch, you will embark on a safari drive and will continue it later in the evening to increase your chances of viewing nocturnal wildlife.
You will return to the lodge in the late evening and move on to have dinner.
Today is the last day in the reserve and you will go on your last game drive this morning. You will wake up with an early morning wakeup call for your dawn game drive. After coffee and snacks, your ranger will accompany you on the drive in a four-wheel open Land Rover.
You will return to the lodge for breakfast and depart southwards through the province of KwaZulu-Natal to visit the Shakaland Cultural Village. Here in the village, you will experience the cultures, customs and traditions of the Zulu nation. You will later move onto Durban city and check into your hotel.
Today you will be exploring the city of Durban. You can start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel and venture out with your driver-guide to explore the region. You can go on a city tour of Durban or visit the popular Ushaka Marine Park.
Today you will have breakfast at the hotel and then you will be transferred to the Durban Airport for your flight to Cape Town (Please note: DUR/CPT flight is not included in cost) you will be met by our representative at the Cape Town International Airport. You will be driven to your hotel and you can relax for the rest of the day.
You will begin your day with a scrumptious breakfast after which you will meet your driver-guide for an orientation tour of Cape Town.
Cape Town, South Africa’s second largest city is growing under the shelter of the rugged and imposing Table Mountain. It is a fast growing metropolis drawing tourists from far and wide to its beaches, vineyards and bustling streets.
You can also opt to for the sundowner cruise in the V & A waterfront or Camp’s Bay at an additional charge. Alternatively, you can get adventurous and go for a helicopter flip over Cape Town.
Today you will spend your time exploring the city of Cape Town. You will start off after breakfast at the hotel and then met by your driver-guide who will drive you around for a full day Cape Peninsula Tour. You will return to the hotel in the late afternoon after an eventful day spent in the city.
Today you can indulge yourself in the rich wines of the Cape, and explore the winelands for the whole day. You will be accompanied by your driver-guide for the rest of the day.
Today is the last day of your holiday in South Africa. You will begin your day with breakfast and then head to the Cape Town Airport for your flight back home.
Requires a spirit of adventure and some degree of fitness, as the trip might consist of many activities or long journeys. These adventures involve walking, trekking, hiking, cycling, rafting, sea kayaking, or driving for long hours, at times for up to six to eight hours a day at a steady pace.
