Asia

Asia is a cornucopia of sights, sounds, smells, and experiences. It captivates, it excites, it makes you introspect, and tugs at your very heartstrings. It is the largest and most populace continent, hosting more than half of the world’s current population. Asia stretches from the frozen arctic in the north to the warm tropics in the south. It proudly hosts the highest mountain range in the world, the Himalayas. Vast deserts like the Sahara and Gobi also reside in this diverse land. And lush rainforests find their place in the Southeastern part of the continent. The climate in Asia varies from year-round snow in some places to year-round heat in others.

Asia is home to a wide range of flora and fauna. Brown bears, otters and wolves are common in the northern regions Antelopes are characteristic of semi-aired regions of Asia. Wild sheep, goats and wild yaks are ever-present in highlands such as those of Tibet. Monkeys, lions and tigers are some of Asia’s mostfamous inhabitants. Resident and migratory bird life is abundant and reptiles are varied and plenty in number.
